I'm a Kenyan Blogger, Feature Writer, and a student in the Department of Journalism and Mas Communication at Masinde Muliro University studying PR & Advertising.
Founder and Editor-in- chief of his blog: www.oorogeorge.co.ke which is apparently my biggest venture.
I see my blog as a factory of cultural products and important components in the assembly of national identity.
Public awareness is an essential ingredient for national mobilization, In that regard, It is my social obligation to support society's efforts in dealing with national disasters such as corruption, unemployment, drought and famine, drugs and substance abuse, alcoholism, terrorism, negative socio-cultural practices, high illiteracy and household poverty levels, child labour, teenage pregnancies, irresponsible gambling, outbreak of epidemics like Cancer, Ebola and STIs.
I'm using my blog as a platform to effect social change.
